Sample Photography Questionnaire for Scheduling a Fashion Blogger Photoshoot

Recently, I had my very first photo shoot working with a photographer. I usually do a lot of my own photography but I thought it would be fun to work with another photographer to help capture some fun images I tin can utilize on my social media platforms. I was really nervous about the photo shoot since information technology was my first time merely I did learn a few things that I idea may exist helpful to share.

Ways to Prepare for Blogger Photoshoot

Find Inspiration

Have a vision of what you would like your pictures to expect like. Have screenshots of images that are similar to the vision you accept for your shoot. Share your inspiration with your photographer ahead of time so that they tin can help with ideas and photo locations.

Detect a Photographer That Fits with Your Manner

This may exist the most of import part of your photoshoot. Communicating your vision, your branding style, and the feel you lot would like is very important to share with your lensman. Photographers too accept their own brand and style that they need to stay truthful to. I highly recommend spending a few minutes on the phone to go over all this with each other prior to photoshoot.

What to Wearable

Depending on the amount of time y'all accept scheduled with your photographer y'all volition need between 2-four outfits. Accept them set up a few days before your shoot. Transport pictures of the outfits to your photographer so that he/she can get ideas on how to shoot them. Be sure to have all clothes ironed and that they all fit well  (Trust me on this, I learned the difficult way at my 1st shoot, oops!).

If yous are unsure of how something looks on y'all, take a few pictures with your phone. That mode y'all can meet if yous like how your wearing apparel photo for the shoot ( I wish I had washed that too, lesson learned).

Accessories/Props

Bring some fun accessories or props with you. Items like purses, hats, sunglasses, a notebook, umbrella, flowers etc. The list is countless just don't be afraid to bring things with you that tin can make the pictures authentic to yous .

Makeup

Sunscreen and products with sunscreen do not photo well. Use a good foundation and concealer for under your optics. Also, go a tad bit heavier on your makeup since sometimes lighting can launder yous out.

But remember don't get overboard since you may not like the stop result. Bring your makeup with you and then that y'all can quickly touch up in betwixt outfit changes.

Breathe and Have Fun

This, like annihilation else, is a learning feel. The more you do it the better understanding you will have for your side by side photo shoot. Accept fun and don't stress 🙂
